Bay Young Professionals learn Personal Marketing
“Starting today you are not defined by your job title and you’re not confined by your job description. Consider the possibility that you are a brand. Every bit as much a brand as Nike, Coke, BMW or the Body Shop. If you don’t know what makes your talent or service different, you’ve got a big problem. To excel in today’s competitive market place, learn these proven techniques on how to make the brand called you stand out.”
Such was the advice of Jack Kerigan, owner of Kerigan Marketing, in a recent presentation to the Bay County Chamber of Commerce’s new Bay Young Professionals group. Kerigan was the featured speaker for the luncheon held Wednesday, June 28 in the Larson Bland Conference Center at FSU, Panama City.
Kerigan spoke on the topic of Marketing Yourself: The Brand Called You, and shared tips on personal marketing based on his branding experience, corporate career, and a seminar he attended by Tom Peters. Bay Young Professionals (BYP) was created by Leadership Bay of which Kerigan is a 2006 graduate.
