Kerigan Marketing Wins ADDY Gold in LA, Silver in PC

Kerigan Marketing Associates has received five ADDY Awards over the past two weeks in competitions in Baton Rouge and Destin. The American Advertising Federation awarded Kerigan a Gold ADDY for its Sanctuary Beach newsletter in the South Louisiana market. Additionally, Kerigan received four Silver ADDYS in the Destin market for The Island Country Club 30-second TV, Century 21 brochure, Dockside Café logo design and again for Sanctuary Beach newsletter.

Jack Kerigan, Jr., owner of the firm which has offices in Port St. Joe and Baton Rouge, said, “this year was extra special for us. It was truly a team effort. I know people say that a lot, but I had just hired a new writer and I put her to work instantly on the Sanctuary Beach project. We used a local photographer, Debbie Hooper, for both ground and aerial photography and everything just meshed perfectly.”

Kerigan, who holds a marketing degree from FSU and an MBA, directed each of the projects. Catherine Noel, a graduate of LSU’s School of Design, led all creative. Sarah Gaskins, Kerigan’s newest team member, earned her Journalism degree from UGA and handled much of the copy writing. Elaine Lerch completes the small team and serves as Office Manager.

Kerigan Marketing has received ADDY Awards in each of the past five years, yet never multiple gold and silver in two markets. Still Jack says that’s not the most important thing to him. “We gauge our performance by our client’s sales results. I am a brand manager and my goal is to create a campaign that delivers a positive ROI. Still, it’s nice to see how the judges rate our work.” The ADDY competition is judged by a nationwide panel of advertising specialists.
