BATON ROUGE, LA – Louisiana’s Audubon Golf Trail, a division of the State of Louisiana’s Department of Culture, Recreation and Tourism, has hired Kerigan Marketing Associates, Inc, to redesign its web site. The Audubon Golf Trail is a collection of 12 public golf courses around the state, including the TPC of Louisiana, home to the PGA New Orleans tour stop.
Jack Kerigan, Jr, was hired, in 2001, as marketing consultant, to create the marketing plan for the new tourism initiative with a concept similar to Alabama’s Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail. Since that time the firm has grown to develop advertising, promotions and has created web sites for three of the Trail’s courses. Kerigan will partner with Miles Media, who handles tourism for the State of Florida, for the work and was selected based on past design successes. The new site will feature a menu of videos along with social sites and a new reservations system.
Kerigan Marketing has also led the tourism marketing efforts for Gulf County, Florida since 2001, where the work helped to deliver a 31% increase in tourism revenues for the fiscal year ended September, 2009 over the same period year ago.
Kerigan Marketing Associates, Inc. is a team of four serving clients along the gulf coast including the St. Joe Company, Tyndall Federal Credit Union and US Air Force Robotics.
